A spokesman for South Wales Fire and Rescue crest fire confirmed the fire was accidental.

A crew from Cwmbran attended the after the call was raised at 1142 and left 14 minutes later.

There were no injuries.

UPDATE: 11.23pm

A CAR is reported to be on fire near Gwent Police headquarters on the A4042 in Cwmbran.
