BIG Pit visitors had good news today as First Minister Carwyn Jones said underground tours would remain free.
In response to a question from Torfaen AM Lynne Neagle at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, he said: “There will be no payment for entry into any of the National Museums attractions".
He said museum visitors might encounter fees for special exhibitions, but not ordinary entrance fees which includes entrance to underground tours at the Big Pit National Coal Museum.
