AN RAF rescue helicopter was called after a man fell down a 10 feet seawall in Newport.
Firefighters from Malpas and Maindee were called to the Goldcliff area on Friday at 7.04pm. A specialist line rescue team from Malpas also took part in the operation along with an RAF Sea King helicopter.
The man was taken by an ambulance to the Royal Gwent Hospital with a suspected leg injury.
Fire crews left the scene at 8.44pm.
