The 40,000 tonnes of woodchip alight at a recycling centre at Newport Docks is being dug out with a digger and fire crews are damping down hotspots.

NEWPORT fire crews are tackling a fire of 40,000 tonnes of woodchippings at the city's docks.
Firefighters from Duffryn and Maindee are at a factory and have been there since 4.04am.
The factory's staff are using a digger to turn over the wood as firefighters continue to tackle the blaze.
