UPDATE: 9.18am
A FOUR-CAR crash and lorry fire is causing slow traffic in the Cwmbran area this morning.
One lane of the A4042 is closed, causing slow traffic on the road, due to the crash on the southbound side between the crematorium and County Hall roundabouts.
The four cars involved in the crash went into the back of each other as they approached the County Hall roundabout.
According to South Wales Fire and Rescue Service personnel, the traffic had slowed as motorists were looking at the lorry-mounted crane that had caught fire on the opposite side of the dual carriageway and which the fire crews were attempting to bring under control at the time of the crash.
