THIRTEEN people rang 999 to report a car which was "well alight" in Ebbw Vale late last night.
Crews had trouble getting to the fire on Hughes Avenue, a narrow street near to the council offices in Ebbw Vale, because of cars which were double parked.
Firefighters from Ebbw Vale were called to the scene at 12.29am last night and used breathing apparatus and hosereels.
Jennie Griffiths, head of the Joint Fire Control for South and Mid and West Wales Fire Services, said crews were delayed because of double parking.
She urged people to remember to leave enough space for fire engines to fit through.
