EMERGENCY services pulled a driver out of a car that had caught fire in Blaina earlier this morning.
Four crews from Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale and Abertillery were called to the scene along the A467 near the Westside Roundabout at 4.30am.
First responders from Gwent Police had already pulled the casualty from the flaming car before firefighters arrived.
A South Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said that crews responded to the reports of a single occupant still trapped in the car while it was on fire.
Crews searched the area to make sure no further casualties were involved and extinguished the fire.
