FIREFIGHTERS tackled a factory fire in Blaenavon earlier this morning.
Local crews received a 999 call at 1.12am alerting them to the blaze at Doncasters Ltd on Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate.
Two fire engines and a water bowser were dispatched to the scene.
The fire involved an external extraction unit at the factory, with all processes in the building stopped whilst all persons were confirmed safe.
Crews reported that the fire was extinguished at 2.23am using hosereels and thermal cameras.
