Power cuts hit hundreds of homes in Newport and Cwmbran

Western Power Distribution have stated they are still dealing with incidents in the Marshfield area of Newport.

Western Power Distribution confirm that power has been restored to several propeties in the Newport area.
The distributor is still tackling power outage issues in Cwmbran.
UPDATE: 3pm.
Power cuts have hit homes in Maesglas, Duffryn, Newport City Centre and Cwmbran.
Western Power Distribution have confirmed that power outages are affecting these areas and should be resolved in the next hour.
