A MAN has been taking to hospital after an air ambulance landed on playing fields in Cwmbran.
The helicopter responded to reports of a medical emergency in Edlogan Way, Croesyceiliog at 9.05am this morning.
An emergency ambulance and a rapid response car also attended the scene alongside Gwent Police officers.
A spokesman for Welsh Ambulance Service said that the man was taken by road to Royal Gwent Hospital.
