Police at the scene in Abercarn
THE death of a woman whose body was found in a river yesterday (January 14) is not being investigated by police.
Police were called to the Prince of Wales Industrial Estate in Abercarn yesterday morning at 8.50am after the body was spotted in the Ebbw River.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the name of the woman, and have been working to inform her family.
Today, Gwent Police confirmed the death was not suspicious, and no further investigations would be taking pace.
