We would like to clarify that a headline on an article in yesterday’s Argus on the High Court’s ruling on the traveller site at Esperanto Way was inaccurate because it stated the company lost the case.
Orb Electrical Steel brought the case against Newport Council and substantially won after the court ruled the planning decision to allow the family to use the site was unlawful.
However the court refused to overturn the planning permission and the company is considering appealing this aspect.
