NEWPORT County AFC have announced the signing of Joe Pigott on loan from Charlton Athletic until the middle of November.

Pigott is a striker and will wear the number 45 shirt for County during his loan spell. It is understood by the Argus that Pigott's cost is being picked up by a new fan venture set up in conjunction with director Howard Greenhaf.

Justin Edinburgh commented "we couldn't have done this signing without the help of the Supporters Partnership. We looked at Joe last year but unfortunately he went on loan to Gillingham, Joe is an exciting prospect and with Rene being out until gone Christmas time he will add to this area of the team."
