NEWPORT County AFC will begin their EFL Trophy campaign at Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday, August 30.
County are in Southern Group B of the Checkatrade Trophy (formerly known as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy) alongside the Pilgrims, AFC Wimbledon and Swansea City.
Matchday two on Tuesday, October 4, will see Warren Feeney's men host the Swans.
And the Exiles will then host the League One Dons at Rodney Parade on Tuesday, November 8.
The revamped competition sees clubs from League One and League Two compete with 16 Category 1 Academy teams from the Premier League and the Championship for the first time.
The first stage consists of 16 regionalised groups of four teams going head to head. The groups include at least one side from each of Leagues One and Two, alongside one Category 1 Academy team.
In each group the top two teams will progress into the knockout stages of the competition, with eventual finalists going on to contest the showpiece final at Wembley on April 2 next year.
