NEWPORT County have announced that first-year professional Dafydd Jones has joined Monmouth Town on loan until the beginning of 2017.
Jones made his County debut as a substitute in the Capital One Cup defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2015.
He was an unused sub as the Exiles went down to a 4-1 defeat at Plymouth Argyle in the Checkatrade Trophy last night.
Three second-year scholars have also gone out on 'work experience' loans to Welsh League Clubs until the first week of January.
Andrew Evans joins Chepstow Town, Kyron Tolland heads to Penybont and Jake Young will play for Caerleon.
A County statement reads: "The club would like to wish all the players the very best during their respective loan spells."
