NEWPORT County AFC midfielder Tom Owen-Evans has joined National League South side Truro City on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old academy graduate played a key role in County’s Great Escape from relegation last season and signed a new two-year deal last May.
But he has been restricted to 15 appearances during the 2017-2018 campaign and has not featured since coming on as a substitute against Exeter City on New Year’s Day.
Owen-Evans will now join Truro until the end of the season as they aim to make the National League South play-offs.
He could make his debut for the White Tigers on Saturday as they host Hungerford Town at their Treyew Road home ground.
A statement from the Exiles said: “The club would like to wish Tom and Truro City all the best for the remainder of the season.”
