NEWPORT County have completed the signing of Luton striker Aaron O’Connor, as predicted in Monday’s Argus Sport.
A statement on the Exiles website confirmed the deal.
“We are delighted to announce that following on from last night's impressive performance and the encouraging attendance at our new home, Aaron O’Connor has this morning signed for the club.
“I am sure you will join everyone at the club in welcoming Aaron to the club.”
The 28-year-old will team up with his former manager Justin Edinburgh, who brought him to Grays Athletic in 2007 and signed him for Rushden and Diamonds where he made him captain.
O'Connor has signed after a 12-month stint at Luton, where he made 37 appearances, scoring seven goals.
"Luton Town would like to take this opportunity to thank Aaron for his services and consistent effort during his time at Kenilworth Road," said a club statement.
