YUMMY mummies are flocking to North Wales to go ‘glamping’ safari style. Hot Tub Safari in Pentre Mawr, near Denbigh, beat off competition from thousands of entries to be voted one of Sudocrem’s top ten ‘glampsites’ in the UK.
A Sudocrem spokeswoman said: “Happy Glampers enjoy the romance of staying in luxury tents, teepees, yurts, and retro caravans.
“They love waking up every morning with the countryside on their doorstep, but without the hassle of having to put a tent up or tow a caravan along a winding country lane.”
Britain’s mummy bloggers and their readers voted in their droves after being asked by family favourite, Sudocrem, to nominate their pick of these glamorous sites around Britain.
Hot Tub Safari which is situated within the grounds of the five star Pentre Mawr Country House, has been described as the first place in the UK to take camping to such a luxurious level.
Inspired by African safari tents, each canvas lodge has its own private hot tub, super king size leather, bed and Freeview TV.
Manager Bre Carrington-Sykes said: “We are thrilled to be voted in Sudocrem’s top ten. Although we do not allow children to stay we are extremely popular with mums wanting to get away from it all and enjoy some luxury.
“We are very hands on with our customers, it’s all very well having a beautiful place – there are no other lodges like ours in the UK, but you need to make the customer feel special.”
