CORNISH indie-folk outfit 3 Daft Monkeys will play Cardiff’s Globe as part of their forthcoming tour.
After some time off at the end of last year, this tour marks their return to the live circuit and champions the release of their brand new album coming this autumn, Of Stones & Bones.
They will be playing tracks from the new album as well as plenty of other live favourites.
The band, who weave world music influences around classic folk melodies, have a new 4-piece line-up featuring Athene on fiddle, Tim on 12-string guitar and vocals, Lukas on bass guitar and Richie Mulryne on percussion, to allow for a richer and fuller sound.
No strangers to stardom, they have appeared next to the likes of Levellers and Show Of Hands, and at the Eden Project, the BBC Proms, Beautiful Days and Glastonbury, where they performed this year in addition to numerous other festivals.
3 Daft Monkeys play Cardiff Globe on October 15. Check 3daftmonkeys.co.uk for ticket information
