With over 4000 performances in over 40 countries, the Bootleg Beatles’ show is exciting, vibrant, and most of all, amazingly realistic. In a two-hour multimedia performance featuring classic Beatles’ hits, the world’s premier Beatle band returns St David's Hall in December.
Formed from the West End cast of the Broadway musical ‘Beatlemania’, The Bootleg Beatles’ career began at a now long forgotten student’s bash in Tiverton, Devon, UK on 26 March 1980 – almost ten years to the day since Paul McCartney announced the original’s had split.
Since forming, the band has toured Europe, Asia, Australia and America. They have become stalwarts on the UK festival scene, as well as supporting many famous musicians, including Oasis, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, and Elton John.
In 2002 they opened the proceedings for Her Majesty The Queen’s 40th Anniversary celebrations at Buckingham Palace, with Paul McCartney headlining (after the concert Paul jokingly threatened to come to the next Bootleg gig and heckle from the stalls)!
It’s not The Beatles but you simply won’t believe it!
