Newports Meze Lounge Music Venue hosts a Weekend of live sounds this Valentines weekend "for the music lovers" with a double bill of lineups and live sessions.

Rising Portsmouth Pop Punks Midday Committee Take to the stage on the Friday night Headlining Meze's Free Entry "Pop Punk Prom" also featuring local favourites Sticks and Stones, Highwinds and Thousand Fingers. Mixing Seamless pop Melodies underpinned by a harder heavier edge the band have received a mammoth reception by tastemakers OurZone and Mintsouth Magazines for the bands debut release A Bad Judge of Character with the band drawing comparisons American Punk Prospects the Story so far, A day to Remember and Fall Out boy.

While the Venues saturday regular CRASH! Club night is headlined by Live Drum and Bass Collective DR MEAKER.

Following a victory Winning the nationwide GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL Unsigned competition, the band have fast become mainstays of the UK festival scene from Bestival to Boomtown. Now Signed to the internationally Recognised V Recordings the bands recent singles have been regularly playlisted by Radio1's Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Mistajam, with a hectic international schedule of live dates across europe on the horizon and a full summer of releases, the band will be road testing a Live Set of brand new releases as part of the bands exclusive Newport date supported by the CRASH! DJ's.
