THE Arctic Monkeys, Sheffield’s greatest musical export since Pulp, hit the road this autumn with a major UK tour.
The band are coming to the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on Tuesday, November 1.
They exploded onto the music scene in late 2005 with their smash No 1 hit, I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, and are heralded as one of the first acts to come to the public attention via the Internet.
Their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not, became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history, surpassing Oasis' Definitely Maybe and remains the fastest-selling debut album for a band in the UK.
Other big singles hits include When The Sun Goes Down and Brainstorm.
Tickets for their gig go on sale from today and they are available from the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena box office on 02920 224488.
