TICKETS to see The Who legend Roger Daltrey perform at Newport Centre this summer go on sale from today.
The band’s front man will perform the group's 1969 rock opera double album Tommy on Sunday, July 10.
It was later made into a film directed by the maverick Ken Russell which starred Daltrey in the lead role as well as the hell-raiser Oliver Reed and singing great Tina Turner.
The record’s most memorable songs include Pinball Wizard, See Me, Feel Me and I’m Free and it was The Who’s fourth album.
Daltrey, now 67, will also sing some of The Who’s classic tracks at his Newport gig.
Doors will open at 7pm and tickets cost £45.
