COOK Gloria It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of Gloria Ruth Cook (née McHugh) announce her passing at her home on Monday 21st March 2022. Gloria was an adored mother and grandmother, a cherished sister, aunt and a friend to all she met. We will miss her terribly. Gloria's passing at 89 years marks almost 9 decades in which her vitality remained entirely undimmed by age. Until her recent, short but brave, battle with cancer, Gloria could still be seen striding down the street unaided or caring for her beloved granddaughter who, at 14, she has raised and cared for since birth. We are extremely proud of the selflessness, wisdom, joy and kindness that Gloria has displayed throughout her life, and which made this world a better place for all around her. She is now reunited with her late beloved husband Allen John Cook. All family, friends and well wishers are invited to attend the service of celebration of Gloria's life at Holy Trinity Church, Pontnewydd, NP44 1AT at 2pm on Monday 25th April 2022, followed by a reception at Greenmeadow Golf Club from 3.30pm.
