JONES Vera Née Powell Sadly, passed away on Tuesday 8th March 2022, Vera, aged 89 years of Ty Bryn Residential Care Home, Abersychan. (Formerly of Garndiffaith). Beloved wife of the late Evan. Much loved and cherished sister of Eric and sister-in-law of Eirlys. Treasured aunt. She will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. 'Safe in the arms of Jesus'. Vera's funeral will be held on Wednesday 6th April 2022. The service will take place at Sardis Congregational Chapel, Varteg, at 11.15am followed by the committal ceremony at The Gwent Crematorium, Croesyceiliog, at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, will be gratefully received for St. David's Hospice Care and can be sent to the funeral director. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Service, 82, Broad Street, Blaenavon (01495) 793144.
