HOBBS Valerie Lilian (Val) née Channing Peacefully at home on the 13th May 2022, aged 84 years, with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Eric, devoted and much loved mother of James and dear sister of the late Arthur. Cherished sister-in-law, aunt and cousin, especially of Eileen, who was her lifelong friend. She will be sadly missed by all her family, friends, neighbours and former colleagues and was a "Friend of all the World". Funeral at St. Mark's Church, Gold Tops at 11:30 am on Thursday 16th June, followed by committal at Langstone Vale Crematorium.
