POOLE Maxwell Russell (Max) Suddenly on 18th June at the Royal Gwent Hospital, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Ann, stepfather of Andrew and much loved by all the family. Former employee of Burt, Boulton and Haywood, lifelong member of Newport Fugitives Athletic Club and life member of Newport Rugby Club. Funeral Tuesday 19th July, service at Gwent Crematorium at 10.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, payable to British Heart Foundation, may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH
