Phillips Frederick Charles "Ray" It is with great sorrow on Saturday 2nd July, that i announce the death of our beloved dad Frederick Charles Phillips aged 81 of Drinkwater Gardens Newport, beloved husband of the late Phyllis and is survived by his beloved daughters Linda, Susan and Christine. As many of you know 28 years ago our father had lost the love of his life, his soul mate and descended into a deep state of mourning, he never fully got over her loss, and over the years her name often popped up in conversation and a silent tear would fall. through much encouragement from his daughter, he eventually remarried, but sadly his happiness was short lived. Over time he was made to isolate from his daughters and was not allowed to see or have a relationship with them or even his grandchildren. This was then extended to his brothers who at one time shared a close bond with. Over the years many cards were sent wishing him well but no reply was ever given. And even now you are resting at Toveys, restrictions have been placed to stop your family seeing you one last time, denying you that last bit of dignity and respect you so deserve, but the cruelty and suffering has stopped now dad and you are back in the arms of Phyllis, your soul mate, our Mother, and in Heaven you dwell never to be separated again. so its not goodbye dad its till we meet again. funeral 25th July 10.30. interment st woolos cemetary Donations can be made instead of floral tributes to Arthritus Council UK A charity that was close to their hearts
