GIRDLER Michael Philip Michael sadly passed away, aged 89, on the 19th of August 2022 at the Grange University Hospital after suffering a sudden stroke at home. Michael was a devoted husband to Phyllis and loving father of Ian and Simon. He will be missed but never forgotten by all those who knew him. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 22nd September 12pm at the Emmanuel Evangelical Church, Rutland Place, Newport, followed by a cremation at Gwent Crematorium, Treherbert Road, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran NP44 2BZ at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in Michael's memory can be made to the Stroke Association and may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9-11 Cardiff Road, Newport NP20 2EH.
