Heirene David John Born 31st December 1934, died on 13th September 2022, leaving his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Ann Mary Heirene, known as Ann. David had four surviving children: Susan, Michael, Alison, Amanda, and Lynda( deceased). A loving grandfather to Christopher, Clare, Jason, Robert, Kathryn (deceased), Ian, Charlie and Jacob. and adoring great grandfather to Thea, Matthew, Edward, Samuel, Thomas, Peter, Ethan, Matilda, Chase, Oscar and Ollie. The funeral will be at Langstone Crematorium on 3rd October at 2.30pm. Dad died with cancer, and his beloved granddaughter Kathryn, who also died of cancer, was a passionate fundraiser for Marie Curie. Donations are requested to this charity or to St David's Hospice Trust who cared so kindly for Dad in his last year. ' Fear no more the heat o' the sun, Nor the furious winter's rages; Thou thy worldly task hast done, Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages.'
