GIBBON John John Gibbon died unexpectedly at the Grange Hospital after a short illness on 17th October 2022. Aged 78 years John originally from Pillgwenlly, was an active member of Newport civic society having been involved in the annual Newport Horticultural Show in the 1970s and 80s and was latterly involved in organising the annual Newport Vintage Car Rally. As a small retail businessman, he was an active member of Newport Chamber of Commerce. John is survived by three children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service is to be held at Langstone Vale Crematorium.
