In friendship's garden we planted seeds eighteen years of laughter and shared deeds Luke my friend your memory I keep In the treasure chest of moments deep

From childhood's days to years gone by Through every smile tear and sigh You stood beside me strong and true A bond unbreakable it was me and you

Though you've departed this earthly place Time nor distance can erase The times we shared the memories made spun In my thoughts you'll forever run

Thank you all for coming to celebrate the life of Luke my little brother and one of the most important people in my life. I know he would be smiling to see all of you who have come out today in support of him and us as a family.

Growing up we had lots of differences, fights, yelling, things that siblings tend to do but over the years we formed a special closeness realising how important we were to each other being my greatest supporter and we went from walking home from school together to waddling home from the pub together. Luke was the person I would call to talk about nothing, always laughing and sharing countless cherished memories, we loved a good photo session whenever we seen each other as like me he was very sentimental. He was my little brother but always looked out for me and acted like he was my big brother , always very protective.

Luke was a young man whose presence touched all those who knew him, a very special person, one of a kind with so many memorable qualities and attributes acknowledged by his family and friends. Kind , sensitive, caring, generous, charismatic with a wicked sense of humour and of course.. cheeky. We all know he loved his funny but creative and clever video clips that he put together. Always described as a true gentleman, he was undeniably but ignorantly handsome, or "smaaart" as he would say whose uniqueness extended to his captivating two different coloured eyes, the same claim to fame as David Bowie, symbolizing his uniqueness and embracing what makes each and every one of us different.

Lukes journey in this life was deeply intertwined with the immense love and support of his proud and devoted family and in return his abundance in love and adoration for them. A truly special and unbreakable bond of love for his mother Janice, who was not only his Mum but his best friend which he idolized who was always there to love, guide and help him especially in times of need. His dearly beloved Dad Paul who he looked upto and shared many happy adventures with, most recently enjoying kayaking on the beaches of Cornwall where he could be himself which he treasured. His loyal step-Dad Carl who was always there to share his jokes and together they were top pranksters and the best at winding people up, he thrived on the bants. His dearest brother Anthony who by coincidence shared the same birthday and was always by his side through thick and thin. His doting grandparents Hilary & Brian who were so proud of him and who he admired as they added layers of wisdom and love to his life.

Not forgetting that Luke was also a very proud and doting Dad himself to his beautiful daughter who he named Tayah, his little princess and was the absolute image of him and the adored apple of his eye. He loved her so much with all his heart, even having a tattoo in remembrance of her on his heart where she will always hold a special place. I know he will be looking down on her as she grows into a beautiful woman.

Luke was like a radiant star brightening the lives of all who knew him. His charismatic personality and infectious laugh drew people in effortlessly and his kind, gentle, generous soul left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

Even though his time with us was tragically much too short, we must always remember the good and happier times, the joy he brought and the love and laughter that we all shared with him. Its in these special memories that Lukes spirit lives on, an eternal flame of kindness and charisma that will forever illuminate our hearts.

For our family there will always be a void and he will never be forgotten but I know he would want us to carry on so in this moment of grief, let us find solace in one another's company and in the knowledge that Lukes memory will always be a part of us. May we honour his life by embracing the qualities that made him so special, unique and remember the remarkably gifted young man that he was but could never see and let his memory inspire us to live our lives full of love with the same positivity and acceptance that he embodied.

Thank you all again and may Lukes soul rest in eternal peace.
