OVERLAND Elizabeth Muriel (Nee Gardener) Formerly of Newport, Goytre and Monmouth passed away peacefully on 16th December aged 94 years. Beloved Mother of David and Stephen and a much loved Mother in law to Mary and Bonita and loving Grandmother to Rachel, Scott, Sam and Ben. Late of Bethany Residential Home Chepstow where she was so happy. Funeral at Bettws Newydd Church Friday 9th February at 10.15am followed by committal at Gwent Crematorium 11.30 am. Family flowers only, donations to Wales Air Ambulance. Funeral Directors Ted Williams, 4 Park Avenue, Abergavenny NP7 5TS.

I did shopping for Muriel for 7 years in Monmouth. What a wonderful lady! Full of humor and stamina, she loved chatting and doing puzzles and reading, including my own books! I'll miss you, Muriel. God bless you!
