HUGHES Mary Catherine Peacefully on 3rd April 2024 at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Mary aged 100.years of Gaer, Newport. Beloved wife of the late Griffith John 'Jack' Hughes, much loved mam of John, Angela and Julian, mother-in-law of Judi, Dave and Allyson and cherished nan and great-nan of James, Laura, Jack, Ellys and their families. RIP. At Mary's request, please wear an item of bright clothing. Funeral will be held on Wednesday 22nd May, service at Gwent Crematorium Croesyceiliog at 11:30am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for Gwent Cats Protection and the RNLI may be sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9-11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH.
