JEFFERY Maureen (née Gower) It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the death of Maureen Jeffery. Beloved wife of Colin and mother of Chris, Julie, Heather and Susan. Cherished Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Maureen (a former Coronation Carnival Queen, originally from Cwmcarn) passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of the 15th July. Maureen is survived by Colin, her devoted husband of more than 67 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her brother Gordon Gower. The family would like to thank the staff of Glyn Anwen and formerly Llys Isan Cardiff, St David's Hospice Nurses and all other medical staff who cared for her during her final days. Funeral Thursday 1st August at 12.30 at Gwent Crematorium, Cwmbran and afterwards at Greenmeadow Golf and Country Club. Family flowers only. Donations on the day to St David's Hospice.
