PENK Desmond Died peacefully in his sleep on Monday 2nd September at The Grange Hospital. Rest In Peace. Funeral details available from his daughter, Catherine.

On behalf of all football referees in Gwent, The Gwent County Referees Association offers condolences to Des' family and friends. Des was a longstanding member and a life member of the Monmouthshire Referees Association, and is sadly missed.

Des referred some of our games when I played for the Cross Hands team in the seventies he was a true gentleman.
