As his son watched over him, David passed away at Valley View care home, Hengoed.
He now joins his wife Eilleen who he always missed greatly and longed to be with again.
Funeral service on Tuesday, 19th November at 2pm at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, Pontllanfraith.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu for St David's Hospice Care may be given at the service.
