EVERYONE knows that the Brother Grimm’s fairy tales are the best fairy tales, and following the success of their previous productions of Grimm Tales, Theatr Iolo has created a brand new performance to celebrate its 25th birthday, which will be showing at Blackwood Miners’ Institute next week.
Grimm Tales, adapted by former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy and dramatised by Tim Supple, is described as “Playful, mischievous and deliciously scary fairy tales.”
Theatr Iolo will be bringing to life the powerful stories of the original Cinderella “Ashputtel”, Hansel and Gretel, amongst other favourites.
This thrilling dramatic production is suitable for young people aged six upwards and is at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Thursday, November 1 at 1.30pm.
Tickets cost £7/£6 and £24 for a family ticket. Tickets are available from the box office on 01495 227206 or online at blackwoodminersinstitute.com
