SOME snow could fall in parts of South East Wales according to the latest forecast.
A band of rain will push in from the west during the evening across Wales and whereas it should stay as rain for an hour or two, (at times heavy), falling temperatures as the night progresses will turn the rain to snow, especially over the higher ground to the east.
Snow may well fall at lower levels for a time too before dawn. There may well be enough snow to cause disruption across higher levels with several hours worth falling, although not all of it will be heavy.
This will be coupled with the formation of ice as temperatures dip below freezing. Elsewhere during Tuesday, a liberal scattering of snow showers can be expected across much of the UK, especially along eastern coastal fringes, with disruption to the road network likely.
