GWENT Police now say the fatal collision on Monnow Street was with the Monnow Street Fish Bar, not the Robin Hood Inn.

A MAN whose car crashed into a pub in Monmouth this morning has died.
The 59-year-old man collided with the Robin Hood Inn, Monnow Street, in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the scene at around 3.16am and found the driver of the Peugeot 106 was unconscious in the vehicle. He was taken to Nevill Hall hospital, Abergavenny, but died a short time later. The coroner has been informed.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also at the incident and Monnow Street was closed for a short time afterwards.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision, or who may have been in the Monnow Street area between 3am and 3.30am today to ring 101 quoting log 61.

A CAR hit a Monmouth pub earlier this morning. The incident happened at the Robin Hood pub on Monnow Street.
Emergency services were called at 3.15am following the incident at 3.15am, with a spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue describing it as a "serious" collision.
A Gwent Police spokesman said there was one car involved, which was in collision with the building.
