IT IS A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME event for many people – donning a graduation cap and robes and collecting a certificate for all your academic hard work in your studies.
But for the pupils at Brynteg Nursery in Abersychan that day came rather early as they graduated from nursery school last Friday, July 5, ready for the big step to primary school in September.
The children donned special hats and pinafores and walked hand-in-hand on their graduation day before special guests, who included Paul Murphy MP and Cllr Gwyneira Clark.
The High Street nursery was praised in May last year for its good quality teaching and high standards of well-being for its pupils, by the inspectorate Estyn.
