NURSERY leavers in Cwmbran received a scroll to mark their achievements as they progress to primary school.
Donning a cap and gown, the 17 four-year-olds from Henllys Village Nursery lined up to receive their scrolls.
Taking advantage of the sunny weather, proceedings took place outside with nursery owner Melanie Baxter presenting the scrolls.
She said: “This is our sixth graduation ceremony and it now forms an annual event for us to wish the children well who are moving on to the next stage of their education.
“It was a fantastic day, the children were brilliant and all are achieving high standards and the staff here are very proud of them.”
The group all enjoyed food and refreshments afterwards.
