KNOWN to be the "life and soul" of the party, Ms Buckley loved dressing up and enjoying nights out with friends including at her local pub. the Waterloo Inn, although the socialising had become less frequent following Ms Buckley's new responsibilities.
Speaking at the time of the Incident, friend of Ms Buckley, Vicky Augustus, who runs the Waterloo Inn, said: "The last couple of months she hadn't been here that often as she was preparing for the baby, but before that she was here nearly every Saturday.
"She was the life and soul and she loved dressing up.
Every party, she was there. We had an army night. Hawaiian, Hallowe'en, all sorts."
A supporter of Liverpool Football Club. Ms Buckley was a "tower of strength" according to friend Louise Griffiths.
Mrs Griffiths, who had known Ms Buckley for more than 20 years, said: "Despite everything she had been through, she was a tower of strength. It was quite Inspirational. I don't know where she got the strength from. The night before the baby was due home, I spoke to Kim on Facebook and said I was overjoyed for her that they could all be back at home as a family."
She added: "She was the life and soul of the party and always laughing.
"She was Just beautiful, inside and outside. She was amazing."
Andy Giles, of Abertlllery, who is friends with Mr Parker, said: "Kim was the life and soul. There was never a dull moment. I would meet up with Dal and Kim at the Waterloo pub. If she was In the pub there was always laughter.
"She couldn't wait for the baby to come home. She was like a bottle of pop."
