CARL Mills should never see the light of day again.
This sorry excuse for a human being wiped out three generations of a Cwmbran family – including his girlfriend and his six-month-old daughter – when he set fire to their house last September.
Kim, Kayleigh and Kimberley Buckley died in agony in that fire. And why?
Because Mills was jealous of the attention baby Kimberley was being given by 17-yearold Kayleigh. Selfish.
Cowardly. Despicable. Evil.
All are accurate words with which to describe Mills.
He is a ‘man’ who began a relationship with a 15-yearold schoolgirl when he was 26. He is a twisted individual who murdered three people in cold blood because he was jealous of a sick baby. And then he tried to blame Kayleigh for the fire.
It is impossible to understand how anyone could do the things Mills did that night. Little Kimberley battled for six months in hospital after she was born. Her twin was stillborn.
The surviving tot suffered a host of medical problems.
Yet within hours of arriving home, Kimberley was dead, as were her mother and grandmother.
The murder trial judge jailed Mills for a minimum of 30 years, but warned he might never be released.
Good. There is no place in our society for people like Carl Mills. He should rot in jail for the rest of his miserable life.
