ANOTHER mountain fire has broken out on steep terrain near Wattsville, the fire service has confirmed.
A crew from Risca were called to the mountain near Troedyrhiw Road at 2.55pm today[SUN] along with a wild fire officer and a 4x4 vehicle from Cefn Fforest.
The incident, believed to be in the same location as a blaze which destroyed 25 acres of mature pine and bracken last week, is ongoing, said a spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
