The victim of the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the A472 at Newbridge on Sunday evening between a cyclist and a mini bus has been named as 30 year old Owain Richard James from Oakdale.

A tribute from the family reads: "Owain was a dearly loved son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by family and friends who would like to left alone to grieve at this time"

The 43 year old driver of the mini bus who was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
