A MAN was rescued by fire and rescue crews after falling down an embankment and getting trapped in drainage.
South Wales Fire and Rescue crews from, Ebbw Vale, Malpas and Barry were called to Park Road, Ebbw Vale at 3.24am on Saturday morning.
They used a triple extension ladder and a stretcher in the rope rescue.
The man, who had suffered a broken leg, was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
