Crews called to fire at Abergavenny hospital children's ward
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the children's ward at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny this morning.
Crews from Abergavenny and Blaenavon arrived at 2.50am but the small fire in an electrical radiator was out by the time they reached the scene.
A spokesman for the fire service said the alarms were activated by smoke and no patients had to be evacuated.
