A LUCKY Gwent man has scooped a £1 million National Lottery prize.
The man, known only as Mr E, won a special EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on 26 July 2013, which created 100 UK millionaires.
Mr E was playing EuroMillions through National-Lottery.co.uk. He has become one of over six million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games. This win wasn’t the only one in Wales in the giant 100 Euromillionaires draw. Railway contractor and grandfather Keith Williams, from Dowlais in Merthyr, also scooped £1m.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Huge congratulations to Mr E on winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. With many people leading busy lives playing online is becoming increasingly popular, as through a few simple clicks players can make sure that they don’t miss out.
“The special EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw on 26 July saw 100 £1million prizes won by players in the UK. “ Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.
