SCENE: The site of the crash on Hafodrynys Hill, Hafodrynys near Crumlin today
THE cyclist who died after a crash on the A472 in Hafodyrynys has been named as Paul Jones, 60, from Markham.
Two cars and the cyclist were involved in the crash which happened at around 7.20am yesterday morning.
Two men, one 51-year-old from the Porth area, and a 59-year-old man, from the Ebbw Vale area, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving remain in police custody being questioned.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision and can help police with their enquiries is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 46 12/08/13.
